Must-Visit Hermosa Beach Breweries

By 9  am on

Beautiful beaches and great beer already go hand in hand with one another, but Hermosa Beach takes that to a new level.

Local beers are a great way to get a taste of a culture since they often reflect the tastes and common ingredients in the area. Hermosa Beach is home to one of the best beach atmospheres in all of Southern California, which is itself one of the main places that defined beach culture in America.

As a result, there isn’t a better beach to sit back and enjoy a beer on than Hermosa Beach, which is why we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite Hermosa Beach breweries here. Check it out before you go out for a beer, and don’t forget to visit the Beach Bound shop for the fastest and friendliest beach and bike rentals in Hermosa Beach!

Hermosa Brewing Company

We’ll start in the heart of Hermosa Beach at Hermosa Brewing Company where local beers meet delicious food at a convenient central location.

We’ve already talked enough about how incredible the beach atmosphere is in Hermosa Beach, but we have to mention how amazing it is to enjoy beach themed beers in a spot where you’re within site of the ocean itself. That’s exactly what you’ll find at Hermosa Brewing Company, along with great food!

The Brews Hall

If you can’t narrow down your food and drink choices to just one place, then The Brews Hall is the place for you.

The Brews Hall is actually four different concepts in one location just next to Hermosa Beach Pier. They have enough craft beer and seltzers to refresh anyone after a day at the beach, incredible food, and more. Plus, The Brews Hall is also located near several other bars and restaurants so your day or night doesn’t have to end once you’re finished enjoying their food and drinks!

Tower 12

Although Tower 12 isn’t technically a brewery, their emphasis on local beers, spirits, and food embodies many of the best parts of a brewery, so we’ve decided to include it here.

Like the other places on this list, Tower 12 is located right in the center of Hermosa Beach near Pier Plaza. Like the Brews Hall, Tower 12 also places special emphasis on great food so that even if you’re with someone who doesn’t want a beer you’ll all still have something to enjoy!

Naja’s Place

Lastly, if you don’t mind leaving Hermosa Beach then Naja’s Place in Redondo Beach also has an incredible beer selection and unique atmosphere on top of a harbor-side location.

We love the local charm there, and if you time your visit just right then you’ll enjoy live music along with your beer!
